FileMaker Support pages show a question from a developer titled “FileMaker Go – Calculations involving GetNthRecord fail after 29 records” and a response suggesting FileMaker Inc is aware of the issue since 10 April 2013. Of greatest concern are the following issues I have noted with FileMaker Pro 13 and confirmed by other developers:ġ. A developer could probably tweak a layout to work reasonably well on an Android phone or tablet. While it will open in a web browser on a tablet, there are no concessions for the web browser. We are likely to never see a FileMaker Go for Android, but we could see FileMaker WebDirect work well on an Android device. could do an end run around corporate owner Apple Inc.’s presumed no Android support policy. One of the tech notes states: “WebDirect is not currently designed for use on a mobile device.” I had thought that one of the big goals of WebDirect was so that FileMaker Inc.
